It is currently sold with 13-inch, 14-inch, and 16-inch screens, all using variants of the Apple-designed M1 system on a chip. Introduced in January 2006, it is the higher-end model of the MacBook family, sitting above the consumer-focused MacBook Air. I know it's not a direct answer for Your question, just wanted to share my adventures I had with Apple lately (esspecially when you emphesize the fact, that it's going to be Your first Apple device). The MacBook Pro is a line of Macintosh notebook computers by by Apple Inc. Latest models (including MB 12'') just feel very vulnerable. I used to have 2013 MB Pro 15'' and it was bloody indestructible (sold it because I needed something much smaller. Today, I'm waiting for a refund decision (5th complaint).ġst - backlight bleed (bloody annoying while watching movies) matrix module changed.Ģnd - 'A' key just jammed whole keyboard changed.ģrd - They sent it back without screws (literally) i know it's service fault but it doesn't help overall feeling.Ĥth - something is rattling in upper part (under the display) rattling, as "still IS, cos they fucking said it was normal ($1700 underpowered laptop!) in new MacBook models (2016 Pro's as well).ĥth - camera stopped working (reinstalled the whole system just to be sure it was hardwere). Maybe it's just my case, but i bought Macbook 12'' 2016 back in the June. I'd be really carefull with Apple "quality" lately. This subreddit is not endorsed or sponsored by Apple Inc.
